Schedule your appointment with the primary care physician once every 3 months: It will help you maintain continuous monitoring of your health and prevent possible complications. Furthermore, it helps detect health conditions in time to treat them.

Save time and copayments by visiting urgent care centers instead of emergency rooms: If you need urgent medical attention, but it is not a life-threatening emergency, consider visiting an urgent care center instead of the emergency room. You will receive faster care and lower copayments.

Complete your preventive tests: Complete your preventive tests regularly, following the recommendations based on your age, gender, and medical history, to take care of your health and detect any condition early. Talk to your doctor about the annual flu vaccine, mammograms, if you are diabetic, the blood sugar test, and the eye fundus exam, among others.

If your coverage includes the purchases and payments or OTC benefit, you will receive a new ComboCard. Once you receive it, activate it by calling the automated line at: 1.877.492.6250.

Call us or check your Evidence of Coverage to validate if you have the benefit and the amount you have available.

When paying with your ComboCard

  • You do not need a PIN and you must always select credit when processing the transaction. If you press debit, the transaction may be rejected.
  • Always swipe the card (it is not contactless or chip).

Your Medication and OTC Coverage

Have access to your medications and OTC when you need it

Learn what to do if you need a medication and it is not part of our formulary and how to use your OTC benefit.

What happens if you are new to the plan and your medications are not on the formulary?

To ensure you have access to your medications, we offer a temporary one-month supply at the beginning of your enrollment.

To receive this supply, it is important to know that:

  • The prescription must be filled at a pharmacy within our network.
  • During this month, talk to your doctor about whether you can switch the medication to another one included in our formulary, or call us for alternatives.

* If the prescription is for less than 30 days, you may have several refills until you receive a one-month supply. You must request the provisional supply during the first 90 days of your enrollment.

How you can save on OTC items with your benefit.

With the OTC benefit, you can save on products and medications to care for your health at home, such as: pain relief medications, vitamins, diapers, first aid items, and more.

  • Download the OTC Guide to see the covered items. The brands in the guide are examples, and many more may be covered. Download the OTC Guide here
  • Take them home the same day and take advantage of possible shelf discounts.

    At Community Pharmacies use the Barcode on your medical card.

    New! At chain stores like Walgreens, Walmart, Sam's, and Costco use your ComboCard. When paying, you must select 'credit' so the card is not rejected.

Call us or see your Evidence of Coverage to confirm if you have the benefit. The benefit is deposited depending on your coverage every 3 months or monthly and does not accrue. Use it before the period ends.

Order your OTCs through Mi Triple-S

  • Register or log in.
  • Look for the ComboCard & OTC icon and click.
  • On the page, you can see your benefit balance, order eligible items, and receive them at home.
  • After confirming your order, you will receive it in 2 business days if you place it before 3 p.m. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

The ComboCard is issued by The Bancorp Bank N.A. under license from Mastercard International Incorporated. You must use the card at contracted merchants that accept the ComboCard as a payment method. 1. The benefit does not accrue. To be eligible for the purchase and payment benefit you must meet all of the following requirements: have one or more comorbid and medically complex chronic conditions that are life-threatening or significantly limit your overall health or function. These conditions include, but are not limited to: chronic cardiac arrhythmia, asthma, diabetes mellitus, pulmonary hypertension, and chronic heart failure (see Evidence of Coverage for a complete listing), having a high risk of hospitalization or other adverse health outcomes, and requiring intensive care coordination. The benefit mentioned is part of a special program for people with chronic diseases. Not all affiliates are eligible. 2. OTC benefit does not accrue.
